The Turkey Fryer Express online store is one of three divisions of the Crawfish Company of Central Florida, Inc., which was founded August 8, 2002. The Turkey Fryer Express store specializes in the Bayou Classic Outdoor Cooking Equipment.

Our company found its beginnings back in 1989 when our group of friends from Louisiana decided to have a Crawfish Boil. We offered our back yard. There were about 35 of us eating crawfish and sucking head, drinking beer and enjoying the tunes from a band that we hired at the last minute. We borrowed pots and tubs to cook our crawfish and made ends meet. We had such a great time that we made it an annual event. We quickly named this backyard gathering "The RajunCajun Seafood Festival of Orlando. Needless to say, it quickly outgrew my backyard. Our RajunCajun Festival now draws over 700 Cajuns each year. This eventually led to the formation of the Crawfish Company of Central Florida, Inc.

Over the years we experimented with different brands and models of outdoor cooking equipment. After trying all makes and models, it became clear that the Bayou Classic Outdoor Cooking Equipment is the leader in outdoor equipment.

Barbour International, Inc. the manufacturer of Bayou Classic Outdoor realized that different regions of the country had different needs and demands.

  • Eastern states: "Steaming" crabs, clams, and oysters in Eastern states
  • New England: "Boiling" lobsters
  • Great Lakes region: "Fish Boils"
  • Central States: "Boiling" corn
  • Southwest: "Slow cooking" chili and stews
  • Southern California, Texas and Florida: "Steaming and Boiling" tamales and menudos
  • Gulf Coast: "Boiling" crawfish, shrimp, and crabs as well as gumbos and jambalaya
  • West Coast: Wok cooking
  • Nationwide: "Frying" fish and chicken
  • Nationwide: "Frying" whole turkeys

To accomplish this, the Bayou Classic line now consists of a wide variety of stockpots and steamers, deep fryers, turkey and chicken fryers, outdoor gas cookers, cast iron cookware, and griddles. Most recently, stainless steel products including cookers, stockpots, deep fryers, and turkey fryers have been added to the product line.
